People with mental health issues say that the social stigma attached to mental illness and the discrimination they experience, can make their difficulties worse and make it harder to recover. One in four people will experience a mental health problem at some point in their lives, with around one in ten children experiencing mental health problems.

An in-house Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) will deliver therapeutic, behavioural support or interventions (if required)

• Individual Life Designs plan – personal authoring tools we use to help us specifically tailor our support to our clients
• Focus on Strengths plan – an important step toward creating a more positive pathway to independent living
• Optimal mental wellbeing plan – developing key life skills to help them understand the importance of looking after their mental health
• Healthy living environments plan – developing key life skills to help them understand the importance of up-keeping their home, health and safety around the home
• Good physical development plan – developing key life skills to help them understand the importance of personal hygiene, medication and daily physical improvement
• Personal, financial and social development plan- developing key life skills to help them understand the importance of going out in their local community, building positive personal relationships, managing their own budgets and finances (where possible) and accessing training, education and employment opportunities
• Nutritional wellbeing plan- developing key skills to help our clients understand nutrition, assistance to prepare meals, assistance with preparing shopping list, going shopping and assistance with budgeting for food, bills, clothing, recreation etc
